From 20 to 23 September 2026, Novo mesto became a meeting point for citizens and organisations from seven European countries. Partners from Slovenia, Malta, Serbia, Greece, Croatia, Bulgaria and Italy arrived for the international conference of the project Citizens from local communities – the value of the EU (EU citizens), coordinated by Zavod Boter and co-funded by the European Union under the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) programme, Town Twinning strand.
