On Friday, October 30, representatives from Slovenia successfully wrapped up an intensive five-day international training course held in the vibrant city of Thessaloniki, Greece. Organized under the umbrella of the Erasmus+ Delarte project, the event brought together passionate educators, youth workers, and leaders from Romania, Belgium, Germany, Greece, and Slovenia to explore the powerful intersection of social entrepreneurship and the arts.
Five Days of Dynamic Collaboration and Creative Thinking
Throughout the week, participants engaged in a hands-on learning journey designed to challenge conventional thinking and build meaningful cross-border solutions. The training was structured around interactive, group-focused workshops that required high levels of creativity, co-creation, and active problem-solving.
Working in diverse international teams, attendees tackled real-world challenges within the creative and social sectors. The collaborative dynamic provided a platform for participants to refine each other’s ideas, practice active listening, and embrace foreign perspectives—ultimately assembling robust, innovative action plans for new social enterprise initiatives centered around artistic expression.
“The energy during the workshops was truly inspiring. By bringing together distinct cultural and professional backgrounds, we were able to combine our strengths and build far better project frameworks than any of us could have created individually.”
Cultural Immersion in the Heart of Greece
The learning experience extended beyond the seminar rooms and into the historic streets of Thessaloniki. Participants had the unique opportunity to experience local Greek culture during an exceptionally festive week, joining in on the celebrations of two prominent local holidays.
The final day featured country presentation sessions, allowing each delegation to share their regional heritage and traditions. The Slovenian team brought an extra layer of joy and energy to the closing ceremony by teaching all international participants the lyrics and steps to the traditional Slovenian folk song and dance, Lepa Anka.
Looking Ahead: Final Conference and Next Steps
As the Erasmus+ Delarte project approaches its official conclusion, the Thessaloniki training served as a vital milestone in consolidating project outcomes and strengthening international networks.
Partners will soon gather once more in Thessaloniki for the final project meeting and closing conference, where the final results, toolkits, and collaborative frameworks developed throughout the Delarte initiative will be presented to the broader public and stakeholders.
Stay tuned for further updates regarding the upcoming final conference and the long-term impact of the Delarte project!
